About Us
Lake Forest Country Day School

The Lake Forest Country Day School is a private, independent school in Lake Forest, Illinois.  We serve about 400 students from 2 years old through the 8th grade.   Founded in 1888, the school is proud of its traditions of academic excellence, individual attention to students, and family involvement.
Lake Forest Country Day School Library

The library at the Lake Forest Country Day School houses about 15,000 volumes, including audio/visual materials, and subscribes to three online reference databases, addressing the needs of the full range of our students.  Students come to library for regular and special class visits and individually for reading and research guidance.

Regular library hours are 8 am to 4 pm on school days.

Our library is staffed by one full time librarian, Marcia Banzuly, and two part-time library assistants, Libby Hoff and Marlo LaCorte.  A dedicated and talented group of volunteers grease the wheels of our library operation, including Marge Husted, without whom this site would not exist.
