Visitor Wireless Configuration - Microsoft Windows XP (SP2 or Higher)

Procedure

Note: If your client has wireless configuration software from your wireless hardware vendor installed, use that rather than the Windows XP built-in wireless.

  1. Right-click the wireless network connection icon in your taskbar and then click View Available Wireless Network.
     
     
  2. After the Wireless Network Connection dialog box appears, highlight the Panthers network and click the Connect button.
     
     
  3. On the Wireless Network Connection Network Key page, enter in the network key provided to you by the IT Service Center and click the Connect button.
     
     
  4. The Wireless Network Connection dialog box should now indicate you are connected (see picture below).
